Bedroom feng shui
Bedroom feng shui starts with the bed: solid wall behind you, door in view.

Where the bed goes
Move it off the door line
Place the bed so you can see the door without lying in line with it. Feet aimed straight out the door is the classic taboo.
Check behind and above
Back the headboard on a solid wall, away from a window or a bathroom wall. Avoid sleeping under a beam, or soften it with a canopy.
Cover mirrors and screens
A mirror facing the bed is said to disturb sleep. A dark TV counts as one. Turn it away, or drape it at night.

Sleep where you can see who comes in.
These are traditions for a restful room, not treatments. Poor sleep that lasts deserves a doctor's visit.
Good to know
Which direction should my bed face in feng shui?
There is no single best direction. General advice only asks that you can see the door. Compass schools such as Eight Mansions work out a direction from your birth year and gender.
Is it bad to have a mirror facing your bed?
In feng shui, yes, it is traditionally avoided. People say it unsettles sleep and strains a couple. Mirrored closet doors can be covered with a curtain at night.
Can my bed go under a window?
It is best avoided, since tradition wants solid backing behind your head. If the room leaves no choice, use a tall solid headboard and heavy curtains at night.
