Decisive Break
guài · Lake over HeavenName the problem openly, without letting anger run it.
Bring the wrong into the open at the royal court, and speak sincerely of the danger. Warn your own town first. Do not reach for weapons; firm, peaceful movement is what helps.
The six lines
All your strength is in your front toes. If you charge out without the power to finish, the failure will be on you.
Stay alert and sound the alarm. If attackers come after dark, you have little cause for fear, because you prepared.
Force shows in your cheekbones, and that is risky. Walk your resolved path alone; rain may soak and irritate you, but you stay blameless.
Your seat is raw and your steps falter. Walk behind the sheep rather than dragging it, and regret fades; yet you may not take this advice.
Cut through the trouble the way you clear tough weeds that keep returning. Stay on the middle path and you stay blameless.
The time for crying out is past. Whatever clings on to the very end cannot last, so look honestly at what must change.
