Overloaded Beam
dà guò · Lake over WindWhen the load is too heavy, act before the beam gives.
The ridgepole bends under too much weight. The load is beyond the ordinary, and standing still will not hold. Moving with purpose is favorable, and a way can open.
The six lines
You spread white grass under what you set down. Extreme care at a fragile time carries no fault.
New shoots sprout on a withered willow, as when an old man weds a young wife. Renewal is possible, and little goes wrong.
The beam sags further. Pushing on alone with force is dangerous, so take the strain seriously.
The beam is braced and rises again, and this goes well. If you look for other props, there may be regret.
A withered willow blooms, as an old woman takes a young husband. No blame, no praise, and the flower may not last.
You wade too deep and the water closes over your head. It is dangerous, yet there is no shame in what you tried.
